Two 2007 broadcasts, Addiction: Signs, Symptoms & Effects and a piece called "Rusty's House" which aired in the broadcast Cracking the Cocaine Habit won Bronze Telly Awards for television excellence. Addiction: Signs, Symptoms & Effects also won a Silver Communicator Award of Distinction and "Rusty's House" won a Gold Communicator Award of Excellence.

The 2006 production of Squeezing Out The Juice: Tacking the Steroid Issue won a Communicator Award of Distinction in the satellite uplink program category. This program was produced in partnership with Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America (CADCA).

The Distance Learning department won a 2005 Communicator Award of Excellence and a bronze Telly Award for the broadcast Gangs: An American Evolution. This broadcast was produced in partnership with the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC).

The broadcast Marijuana: Reading The Smoke Signals won a 2005 Communicator Award of Excellence for 2005 and a bronze Telly Award. It is also linked as a valuable resource from the White House’s Office of National Drug Control Policy web site.

MCTFT won Honorable Mention from the 2004 Communicator Awards for the video Airport Ramp Interdiction.

Two Videographer Awards, one for Video Production/Creativity/Editing and the other for Government Training, for Ice Age: Fighting Florida's Meth Epidemic. This same video also garnered an Aurora Award for creativity. This video was also a finalist in the 26th Annual Telly Awards competition.
