Follow the Money

This course is designed for state and local law enforcement personnel, analysts, and prosecutors who specialize in narcotics investigations. It will focus on the elements of various financial crimes that stem from the laundering of money and the accumulation of profits from the illegal narcotics industry. While covering the topics necessary to become familiar with the techniques available in conducting financial investigations, simultaneously principles will be applied through the use of interactive exercises, which will be scattered throughout the course�s activities.
